How to play

You take it in turns with your opponent to place words on the game board.

You win words by answering questions correctly.

Getting it right

When you get a question right you are rewarded in two ways:

  1. You can choose whether or not the words you win are played  on the board; or
  2. You can choose to answer more questions.

Choosing whether or not words can be played  on the board is a strategic choice:

  1. You can choose words with high-scoring potential for yourself on your turn; or
  2. You can choose words with low-scoring potential for your opponent on their turn; or
  3. You can choose to answer more questions in the hope of winning words of greater strategic value.

Choosing whether or not to answer another question depends on your assessment of the strategic value of the correct answer to a question.

Getting it wrong

If you get a question wrong, you lose strategic control.

You don't get to choose which words can be played on the board.

You don't get to choose whether words have high or low scoring potential.

If it's your turn, you have to play words you don't know.

If it's not your turn, your opponent plays the words you don't know...and that's risky because Dr A.I.N. Stein is wicked smart!
